Phase II, a club-to-club grant, included rainwater harvesting system at a private college in Mwika with new rain gutters and a 65-litre underground storage tank and gravity tanks. The underground tank also provides storage from a spring-fed water pipe from the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Also included were additional expenses for the community water system in Nyumba ya Mungu, begun with Phase I funding. This system serves residents of the village plus Masai residents in the hinterland.
